Dr. Chetan Kumar A has joined Sakra World Hospital as a Senior Consultant in Neurology, with 6+ years of experience in tertiary care settings and a strong foundation in clinical neurology.
He completed his MBBS from AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore, and MD in General Medicine from JLN Medical College, Ajmer. He went on to pursue a DM in Neurology from King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, one of India’s most prestigious centers for advanced medical training.
Before joining Sakra World Hospital, Dr. Chetan was associated with leading healthcare institutions, including Sparsh Hospital and Manipal Hospitals in Bangalore, as well as DM WIMS in Wayanad. His diverse clinical exposure has strengthened his expertise in managing complex neurological conditions.
Dr. Chetan manages the full spectrum of neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, dementia, demyelinating diseases, and neuro-immunological conditions. His areas of special interest include autoimmune neurology, headache medicine, sleep disorders, and geriatric neurology.
He is recognized for his clear clinical judgment and patient-focused approach, with an emphasis on delivering evidence-based and compassionate neurological care. His addition further strengthens the Institute of Brain & Spine at Sakra World Hospital.
