1. What is Varicose Vein?
It is a medical condition in which varicose veins are enlarged, swollen, and twisting veins which appear blue or dark purple. This is due to faulty valves in the veins that allow blood to flow in the wrong direction or to pool.
2. If you have had previous surgery, then does it affect anyone who chose EVLT?
Yes. EVLT can be performed in a patient in whom the surgery has been a failure earlier because EVLT is performed under ultrasound guidance.
3. Can I start running or jogging after EVLT?
There will be slight discomfort in the leg due to laser heat. so, it is recommended not to do strenuous exercise for 3-4days.
