Shweta Kadaba working as a Consultant Neuropsychologist at Sakra World Hospital has 9 years of clinical and teaching experience across Mumbai and Bangalore. She completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Neuropsychology with distinction from the University of Bristol, UK in Sept 2021. She has also completed a 3-month neuropsychology internship at NIMHANS, Bengaluru where she worked up 50 cases involving 280 hours of clinical work at their Dept of Neurology.

Her clinical experience includes working at the Cognitive Neurology Clinic (CNC), Bengaluru; the Pediatric Neurology Department at P.D. Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai and the Department of Psychiatry at the Rajiv Gandhi Medical College Hospital in Thane, Mumbai.

At the Cognitive Neurology Clinic (2019), she was a core organiser of a community project which was conducted as part of ‘Cogworks’ - a cognitive enrichment programme for people with dementia. This project was funded by a grant from Burning Man, USA.

She has also conducted several group-based psychosocial interventions with an epilepsy support group Samman - E Cell (Mumbai). It remains one of the longest-running, successful support groups in India. She has been a clinical supervisor of fieldwork for MSc clinical psychology students at Christ University, and Sampurna Montfort College, Bengaluru. She has conducted several public awareness sessions with neighbourhood groups, corporates, and schools on “Brain Fitness”; “Healthy Ageing”; “The Adolescent Brain”; “Study Skills” and “Managing Stress”

In terms of research, she has been a coordinator for a norming project of the Wechsler Memory Scale-3 at the Neurology Dept of K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai, and an OXFAM study on PTSD (Kandla cyclone, 2000). She has also presented her research at national and international conferences in India and abroad.
