Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy or Gallbladder Removal Surgery is a minimally invasive surgical procedure performed to remove your gallbladder. It is beneficial when gallstones cause inflammation, infection, or pain. The surgery requires only a few small incisions, and most patients are able to go home the next day and resume their normal activities.

In Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, a few small incisions are made on the right side of your abdomen. The surgeon uses one incision to insert the camera known as a laparoscope. This displays your gallbladder on the screen. The gallbladder is then removed by working 2 or 3 other small incisions using fine instruments.

Sakra World Hospital is dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment & management of all types of digestive diseases. Our experienced surgeons use the latest diagnostic & endoscopic technology for cholecystectomy surgery in Bangalore.
