About the man, behind the lens

Sakra World Hospital hosted an eventful day on 14th September with Sarath, who is a part of the core team who produced 'Wild Karnataka'. a blue chip wildlife documentary which showcases the incredible biodiversity of Karnataka. The 52 minute film took four years in the making. It has been produced on behalf of the Karnataka Forest Department and narrated by David Attenborough.

Sarath has been an ardent wildlife enthusiast for the past 30 years. He has a rich experience in guiding and has led many prestigious wildlife groups. He assisted many international researchers and filmmakers in the field. He has also spearheaded the Training and Consultancy wing of JLR and also worked closely with the Karnataka Forest Dept. in various field programs including wildlife census operations, training of forest guards and wild elephant capturing operations. He is the Honorary Wildlife Warden for Karnataka Forest Department.
