Dr. Shilpa Kava comes among the top 10 gynaecologist in Bangalore, having more than 10 years of experience in the field. She has been working as a Consultant - Obstetrics & Gynaecologist in the Dept of OBG at Sakra World Hospital and has contributed to the growth and functioning of the department by setting up protocols for patient safety. She is one of the best doctors for pregnancy in Bangalore who believes in teamwork, multidisciplinary care and evidence-based practice.

Prior to joining Sakra World Hospital, she worked in renowned multispeciality hospitals in Bengaluru, such as Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road and The Oxford Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Attibele. During her tenure at The Oxford Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre as Assistant Professor, she was actively involved in academics and training medical students.

Dr. Shilpa Kava has been a meritorious student throughout and has completed her MBBS in 2008 from Kasturba Medical College, Mangaluru and her MS (OBG) in 2012 from the prestigious University College of Medical Sciences (Delhi University) through the All India Entrance examination.
In addition, she has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics from the renowned National Law School Of India University, Bengaluru.
