Dr. Rani Premkumar is one of the top pathologist in Bangalore, working as a Head - Transfusion Medicine at Sakra World Hospital having an experience of more than 20 years in the same field. She has been instrumental in setting up the department of Blood Bank to get the License at Sakra and is the first blood transfusion doctor to join Sakra Family. Prior to joining Sakra, she had worked with Moolchand Hospital Delhi, and Fortis Hospital, Bangalore.

After completing MBBS from T D Medical College Kerala, Dr Premkumar did her Post Graduation in Pathology from St Johns Medical College, Bangalore in 1992.
She completed her Senior Residency program from AIIMS & Safdarjung Hospital N Delhi with special training in Transfusion Medicine.
She did her Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration from Delhi University in 2014.
