Dr. Prabha Ramakrishna has wide expertise in many areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology both in India and abroad. She has also worked as a Lecturer at St John's Medical College, Where she gained experience in Colposcopy and Gynecological Oncology. On returning to India in 2007, she joined Wockhardt (now Fortis) Hospital and Rangadore Memorial Hospital as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She then worked at Gunasheela IVF Centre and gained good exposure in treating infertility.

After her graduation from Bangalore Medical College (1995), she completed her post Graduation in OBG from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore (1999), followed by the DNB by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi (2002). She was conferred the MRCOG in 2006 Her interest in minimal access surgery led her to undergo training at the Minimal Access Training Centre, University of Birmingham. To further enhance her skills, she trained at Kiel School of Gynecological Endoscopy and Reproductive Medicine, Germany, with Prof Mettler - a pioneer in the field of Gynecologic Endoscopy. She was sponsored by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, through the prestigious and highly competitive Overseas Training Fellowship Scheme to undergo higher specialist training in the UK. She worked at various hospitals there and gained a lot of experience in managing high risk cases in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
