He has done his graduation from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, and MS in General Surgery from Mahadevappa Ramappa Medical College, Gulbarga. He completed his Superspeciality training in Pediatric Surgery from Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Bangalore, which is a tertiary care centre for paediatrics.
Pediatric Urology cases like Pyeloplasty, Ureteric Reimplantation, Nephrectomies, Neonatal surgeries like Intestinal resection, Tracheoesophageal fistula repair, Diaphragmatic Hernia repair, Vesicoscopic Ureteric Re-implantation, Thoracoscopic surgery mainly Video-assisted Thoracoscopic surgery for empyema thorax, Feminising Genitoplasty, Bladder augmentation, and Mitrofanoff procedure. He has also performed major surgeries like Thoracotomy – decortications, lobectomy for CLE/CCAM, Duhamel’s pull-through procedure, PSARP, Hypospadias repair, Pyelotlithotomy, Kasai procedure, Choledochal cyst excision and Hepatico-jejunal anastomosis which is challenging paediatric surgery cases in good numbers. He is also trained in Pediatric Laparoscopy & Minimal Access Surgery.
