Dr. Akshay Shetty is an Oral And MaxilloFacial Surgeon in  Bangalore and has experience of 15 years. He completed BDS from RV Dental College (2002) and MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences (2005).

He has vast experience in managing patients in dental colleges, corporate hospitals, private dental clinics, and corporate dental clinics. He has operated cases in corporate hospitals, general hospitals, private hospitals, and nursing homes. Delivery of minimally painful surgical care has been a goal for him and he constantly seeks to evolve techniques to ensure the benefit of patients. The doctor has trained himself after postgraduation in diverse fields such as oral implantology from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, a Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine from the Institute Of Laser And Aesthetic Medicine, and Core Procedures in Maxillofacial Surgery from MSRALC. The doctor believes that the consent form should be explained to the patient in detail and has been actively encouraging other practitioners also to do so.
