He did his Research Fellow GI Motility From Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science, Lucknow. He worked as Lecturer, Assistant Professor & Associate Professor – Gastroenterology at St. Johns Medical College, Bangalore. He worked as a Consultant – Gastroenterologist at St. Philomenas Hospital, Bangalore, Fortis Hospital Bangalore, and Vikram Hospital. He also worked as Consultant & HOD – Medical Gastroenterology at Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road Bangalore.

He has completed MBBS from St. Johns Medical College, Bangalore, MD in General Medicine from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, DM in Gastroenterology from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science, Lucknow and DNBE in Gastroenterology from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science, Lucknow.
