Dr. Rajeswarie RT is working as an Associate consultant - Histopathology, Laboratory Medicine at Sakra World Hospital. She has more than 6 years of post MD experience in the field. She began her career in Pathology with training from the prestigious institute JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research) and super-specialisation in Neuropathology from NIMHANS. With a special interest in Oncopathology, she has worked in a tertiary cancer centre in Bangalore for 4 years with rich exposure to diagnostic and research work.
Dr. Rajeswarie RT has completed her MBBS from Pondicherry University in 2010 and pursued MD Pathology from JIPMER (2012-15). She did her Fellowship in Neuropathology at NIMHANS (2016-17). During her fellowship, she gained further expertise in Neuro-oncology, molecular pathology, and autopsy pathology. She also completed the International Society of Nephrology - Clinical Nephropathology Certificate Program in 2019, which gave her broad exposure to reporting kidney biopsy and immunofluorescence. She is a Certified Internal Auditor (NABL) as she has completed Quality Management system and Internal Audit in medical laboratories as per ISO 15189:2012 (2021)
Her areas of interest include Neuropathology with a special focus on Gliomas, on which she has worked extensively. With vast experience in dealing with complex onco-specimens at the tertiary cancer centre, she is interested in cancer research and molecular diagnostics. International (US-based) learning of Nephropathology gave her a specific interest in medical kidney diseases.
