Dr. Prajakta Joshi Ranade is a trained Paediatric Rheumatologist with expertise in treating childhood rheumatological illnesses like Juvenile arthritis, Systemic lupus erythematosus, Dermatomyositis, Scleroderma and other autoimmune illnesses, Autoinflammatory diseases and Periodic fevers and prolonged fevers.

After completing her undergraduate from RCSM Government Medical College, Kolhapur, she pursued her MD at the Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College, Solapur. She has had vast exposure to paediatric subspecialities working at multiple centers in Mumbai including Tata Memorial Hospital (Paediatric Oncology), Fortis Raheja (Neonatology) & Jaslok Hospital & Research Center (Paediatric Rheumatology, Neurology, Nephrology, Endocrinology).

She further completed IAP Fellowship in Paediatric Rheumatology under the mentorship of Dr. Raju Khubchandani at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai. She worked at the prestigious St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore before starting her independent practice.

Dr. Prajakta has presented papers at many national and international rheumatology conferences and has been a crucial part in the development of pmmonline.india.org   and PROCIN (Paediatric Rheumatology Online Course IAP Newcastle),  a platform for raising awareness in paediatric rheumatological disorders and musculoskeletal problems in children. She has several publications in peer-reviewed journals to her credit.
