Dr. Sachin Kumar is one of the best pulmonologist in Bangalore, working as a Senior Consultant - Pulmonology & Critical Care Medicine Specialist at Sakra World Hospital. He did his MBBS from Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, MD in General Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and DM in Pulmonary & Critical care Medicine from PGIMER, Chandigarh. This was followed by training in Interventional Pulmonology at  Lausanne (Switzerland), Copenhagen(Denmark), Amsterdam(The Netherlands), and Italy. He has more than 40 publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

He has a keen interest in the management of asthma, interstitial lung disease, Interventional Pulmonology, and sleep medicine. He has been conferred the Fellowship of the American College of Chest Physicians and the European Diploma in adult respiratory Medicine for his expertise and achievement in his field of work. He has worked as an Associate professor at ILBS super speciality hospital, New Delhi. His last assignment prior to joining Sakra World Hospital was with Narayana multispeciality hospital, Whitefield, Bangalore as a consultant in pulmonology and internal medicine.
Dr. Sachin completed his MBBS from Seth G S Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai in 2003 followed by his MD (General Medicine) from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi in the year 2006. Further, he completed DM in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine from PGIMER, Chandigarh in 2010. He has also obtained a Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine from Vienna and was later elected as a Fellow of American College of Chest Physicians, USA in recognition of his expertise in the field. Furthermore, Dr. Sachin underwent training in Pulmonary Hypertension & Pulmonary Vascular Disease under the European Respiratory Society in Lausanne, Switzerland, and in Endobronchial Ultrasound in Denmark & Amsterdam.
